Anyone For Tennis?

As an aspiring tennis star, there are no two weeks in the year that exemplify the summer season more than Wimbledon. Also, it looks like Andy is in with a good shout which will certainly add to the excitement.

The grass will be a welcome change for some of the old guard, post 30, shorter points and easier on the knees, pure bliss so long as the rain holds off. It will be interesting to see what the Swiss maestros come up with this tournament, a surface that suits both their big hitting games. In reality, Djokovic is still probably the man to beat. Much like in the women’s game, who can possibly topple Serena?

Two weeks when everyone dusts off their racquets and lofts a few balls skyward into garden’s, carparks and greenhouses the world over. One thing is for certain if it rains this year, I want to see Kanye sing Bohemian Rhapsody to entertain the crowd.
