Go home or Die Hard?

So, it has been announced that a new Die Hard film is in the works with an origin story!

How many more times can things go wrong for John McClane? Poor guy! 

The story is pointing to John McClane revealing how he became a Die Hard cop in a "rough" time of New York City in 1979, some what say, "just like how we met him in the beginning of the first film." So does this mean somebody else will be playing the role of young John McClane whilst Bruce Willis is telling the story, A Die Hard prequel and sequel?

I cannot quite see if this film will end all Die Hard films with a bang, or just completely ruin the nature of the film series. Either way it definitely needs to up it's game from A Good Day to Die Hard. However it is still early days and Len Wiseman, who directed Die Hard 4: Live Free or Die Hard  is in talks to return and direct the film so fingers crossed it will be a success.
