NEW MUSIC! Here it is! Our second installment of new releases for you this September. You can't say we don't spoil you! As always we have a great selection, including new albums from Artful, Brilliant, All Sorts and our very own JW Media. Check out a selection of them below! Also, as a special feature this week we have included a little info about one of our great albums from the JW archive. One of our personal favourites, the 1971 album 'Strings Go Pop/Brass & String Bag' by Don Harper. Scroll down to see which famous Hip-Hop duo sampled it! Somersault (JW2245) - Our latest release is a contemporary mix of anthemic indie and stomping folk tracks. Perfect for TV, Advertising and Documentaries. Minimal-izm 2 (ART078) - Here is the second volume of minimal music for maximum impact. These ambient and electronic pieces are screaming out to be the background score to your television Dramas and Documentaries. ZidZone (BM079) - A fantastic selection of stomping, upbeat music for kids! Great for children's TV. We have been truly spoilt by All Sorts Music this week. It was hard to choose but we have selected four of our favourites for you above, and you can check out the rest via the MyDrive site now. Firstly we have a collection of dramatic themes and underscore beds via 'A Time Of War (ALL059)'. Followed by the contemporary jazz sounds of 'Smooth Grooves (All063)' and the inspiring themes of 'Uplifting Emotional 2 (ALL068)'. Last but not least we have another early Christmas gift for you in the shape of'All Sorts Of Christmas 2 (ALL065)'. This album features a variety of well known Christmas carols & original Christmas compositions, all in a variety of styles.

THE ARCHIVE Here at JW Media Music we are lucky enough to have a huge archive of production music. As one of the oldest production music libraries around, we have a great selection of authentic Jazz and Orchestral music dating as far back as the 1950's. This week we wanted to highlight one of our favourite albums from the JW archive. 'Strings Go Pop/Brass & String Bag' was composed by Don Harper and was released on the 25th August 1971. This double album features a variety of hugely successful pop and jazz themes. A couple of which featured heavily on the critically acclaimed 2005 album 'The Mouse And The Mask' by Danger Doom.
